Manual operation
The venetian blinds are only available with manual operation, where you close and open the blind using the grip strip at the bottom. The side rails ensure smooth operation and allow you to position the blind anywhere in the window. As with most classic blinds, you can change the angle of the slats using the sliding mechanism on the right side rail. This means you can adjust how daylight enters your room and how much privacy you want. There are no visible cords, making the product a safe choice when you have small children.
You also have the option to combine your VELUX venetian blinds with other VELUX products and upgrade your solution. For example, consider external heat protection to keep your home cool or a fly screen to protect against insects when you air out your home.

Installation instructions for VELUX Venetian blinds
Manual operation with control bar, tilting grip and stepless positioning
Contrary to traditional venetian blinds, the VELUX venetian blind is cordless and you therefore adjust the blind by the help of a control bar attached to the bottom of the blind. Simply place your hand on the control bar and raise or lower as you please. To adjust the direction of the slats and incoming light simply slide the tilting grip in the right hand side channel up or down. The tilting grip can be positioned anywhere along the side channel. The blind can be installed in minutes with no measuring or cutting required.
